The majority of backlinks that most people build never get indexed, many are nofollow, but they are clueless. We all go to so much effort to build links and we pay good money to have as many quality backlinks pointing to our sites as possible. But then Google and the other search engines crawlers only manage to find a small percentage of them.

One technique I used in my early days online was to ping the links or turn them into RSS feeds and then submit them. These are all great ways of getting links indexed although, I don’t know about you, but I can think of better ways of spending my time.
