Link building services is a general term to explain all activities in building links to a website. There are two most important reasons to build links; Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Direct Click-Through Traffic. The Search Engine Optimization is important to build traffic and high ranking. A link that provides both traffic and rankings boost in the search engines is apparently great, however it does not mean that the link is good for SEO.

I was looking for information about link building for my site when I hit the LinkBuildingWiki.com. It is a text link brokers that provides a wide array of link building services. The site also provides a central storage area for all information related to link building and only editable by the admin in order to prevent spam.

If you are looking for the best link building service, you should visit the linkbuildingwiki.com. Learn all about the Terms and Definitions, Link Building/SEO Blogs & Posts, Forums & Active Posts, Link Building Articles and many more. It does not matter if you are new at link building or have been working on it for some time; there is always useful updated information at linkbuildingwiki.com to learn. It is the best sources of link building anyway.

Assuming that you already know and appreciate the benefits of posting comments on other people’s blogs, here are a few tips to help you choose the best blogs to leave those wonderful comments of yours on.

There is rarely a point to leave a comment on blogs that have nothing at all to do with the main theme of your blog. A direct connection is unnecessary but preferable. If you are, for instance, maintaining healthy food topic, you don’t always have to restrict your comments on blogs that tackle the very same topics. You can also visit a beauty blog, for instance, and post comments regarding the benefits that healthy food consumption offer with regard to one’s physical appearance.

A quick way to determine the nature of any blog is by checking out its blog description. If there is none, just browse through its content and see if you’re targeting the same keywords.

Likewise, it’s senseless to leave comments on little-known blogs. With such a small readership base, you won’t be able to justify the amount of time and effort it could take you to post the best comments. If you’re going to use comments to promote your blog, it’s better to post them at blogs that are equally popular or more so than yours.

You can use the blog’s page rankings to determine the popularity rating of other blogs and compare it with yours.

Naturally, it’s best to concentrate your efforts on blogs whose owners are likely to reciprocate your action. Whether or not you’re the first to make contact, as long as the other party benefited from the comment you posted then it’s only good business for them to reciprocate.

To determine the chances of having comments left on your blog and link exchanges, try reading the previous entries in other blogs. Follow the links of those who posted comments on their blogs and see if the favor was returned. You know what to do next.

Blogs need not have the same interest in order to benefit from comment exchange. With careful planning, traffic can be generated for two different blogs with just a couple of comments posted on each other’s entries, we can called to have similarity in target market.

A dance blog and a food blog may not have anything in common at first glance, but if you look more closely, you’ll realize that both of them may target the same age group. Two different blogs may also have target the same geographical area.

If you can find a major connection between both your target markets, beneficial comment exchange is very much possible but only with careful planning. First, you’ll need to think of a topic that could link your interests together. Just concentrate on your target market, and you’re sure to find one.

If we go back to the food and dance blog example and assume that both are targeting teenagers, articles that could require the blog owners to exchange comments would be about the best food for dancers during competition and the best dance workouts for those on a diet.

Of course, it’s not bad at all to leave a comment on someone else’s blog just because you want to. If you have the time and the inclination then go ahead! There may be no way for you to benefit from such an action now but this small act of generosity and goodwill could turn out good for you in the long run.

Maybe some of you already know this. For those of you who haven’t heard about it yet, here is the thing.

By using google-translator you can have free unique content for your website regardless what your site is about.

Steps to Follow

1- Find an article about your topic. Just search on google according to your needs.
2- Open the google-translator webpage. Copy and past the article that you’ve found into google-translator.

3- Assuming it is in english. First translate it from english to spanish. Then Spanish to english again. Then from English to French. Then from French to German. Then from German to English.

4- Finally you get unique content for free. The meaning of sentences is very good.

Also it passes the copyscape.com check. TESTED. You get free content and you don’t need to pay any money for content creator software. It is instant and FREE.

Google Trends Tactic

October 5th, 2008
Using Google Trends…I use this tactic on my news/gossip blogs everyday and it gets me steady daily traffic. On top of that, at least 4-5 times a week I get a butt load of traffic. (I’m talking about getting 2,000 hits directing to 1 blog post)This is how I do it.

http://www.google.com/trends?hl=en

This is what people are searching for, updated often.

If you have a wordpress blog, this can really help you get the traffic you need to keep up a steady flow without doing much work.

Goto the trends link and find the top ten most searched terms.

Follow the popular search word/words to the source (CNN, BBC, FoxNews, Etc)

Copy the article, rewrite it. (I’ll post about this in next entry).

You will notice on the trends page, the popular search word(s) have similar search terms listed under it.

Use these in your post if you can, and definitely use them for your tags. They are already separated by commas, so a simple copy and paste will do the trick.

Now watch the traffic roll in, it takes a matter of minutes to see it happen. (Be sure to have a decent ping list in your WP) Hot searches sometimes come back within a day or two. Having published your post already, your blog will usually be in the top three searches on google. I’m not just talking about the google trends results either, regular google searches!

I use my PPC & PPA campaigns and get the steady hits I need to make decent $$ everyday. I’d suggest anyone looking for an easy way to get some hits, try this tactic out and you won’t be disappointed.

Monetizing PC Site

October 5th, 2008

I have a blog that’s based on computers but I’m having a lot of trouble monetizing it.

The site gets about 50-90 visitors per day. Currently I have adsense on there, and it is only making around 20 cents a day. I think this might be more due to ad blindness in computer savvy users rather than ad placement.

I am new to internet marketing and am currently interested in other ways to monetize this blog so any help or advice on how to do this would be great.

I read the tutorial floating around about using Google Insights to make money advertising and I thought it was a pretty neat idea.

However, I got sick and tired of searching for the keywords myself, so I decided to automate the process.

I have designed a small Console Application in C# that allows you to give the program a keyword list, time frame, and 2 threshold values. Inputting the correct combination of keywords and thresholds, you hit enter, and let the program run for a short while (or CTRL+C if you don’t want to wait forever) and it will create a CSV file loaded with all of the breakout search terms from all of your searches.

* The keyword list acts as a file which you will scrape all up-and-coming keywords on that page

* The first threshold represents the search volume you’d like to scrape from your keyword list. Example: You search for “chicken recipes”, and in the list of related search terms you see the following:

1. chicken recipe
2. recipe
3. recipes for chicken
4. recipes with chicken
5. easy chicken recipes
6. chicken breast recipes
7. soup recipes

This threshold (0-100) decides which of these keywords you would also like to scrape from the page.

* The second threshold (0-5000) determines which keywords you feel are valuable in the list of Rising searches. The program will automatically add all breakout terms to your output, but you also have the option of choosing stuff like keywords that are 1250% on the rise (just input 1250) The program automatically adds the valuable keywords to your scrape list so you can exploit any further breakout terms related to the breakout term

* The time frame is the time in months which you would like to perform your searches on. I’ve only really used it for 1, 3, and 9 month time-frames, but I could alter the code if you’re looking for specific date ranges.

My questions:

1) Is there any interest if I decided to release this product publicly?

2) How much would you guys be willing to pay for it? ( Please, no crap answers, this is a powerful utility which makes advertising keyword investigations a very very trivial experience, plus I get $40/hour at my day job, please don’t BS me )

3) What other features would you guys like to see in such an application? I have decided to remove a lot of the data that is inherent with the searches, but I could just as easily put the stuff back in.

Here’s a sample of what the program looks like when you run if from a command console:

Code:

>GoogleInsightsScraper.exe /?
Usage: GoogleInsightScraper <keywordFile> <timeFrame> <threshold_iterations> <threshold_breakout>

Keywords:
keywordFile - The list of keywords you want to search against
timeframe - An integer value representing how many months from today you would like results for
threshold_iterations - The threshold for iterations of specific keywords
threshold_breakout - The threshold for values to add to the list of up-and-coming keywords

Code:

>GoogleInsightsScraper.exe keywords.txt 3 95 175

As you can see as shown below, the power is in the thresholds you set. (I broke out early because it would never end if I didn’t)

WordPress Ping List

October 4th, 2008
Hope some people will find it helpfull
from http://www.instant-info-online.com/w…ping-list.html

WordPress Compressed All-Inclusive Ping List

When I noticed all the ping lists available for Wordpress I decided to make a clean list from all the sources, available at:

http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/to…TOPIC_ID=57413
http://elliottback.com/wp/archives/2…-rpc2-to-ping/

Here is the result (just copy and paste this list into Options > Writing > Update Services):
http://rpc.pingomatic.com
http://ping.weblogs.se/
http://blogmatcher.com/u.php
http://coreblog.org/ping/
http://www.blogpeople.net/servlet/weblogUpdates
http://bulkfeeds.net/rpc
http://trackback.bakeinu.jp/bakeping.php
http://ping.myblog.jp
http://ping.bitacoras.com
http://ping.bloggers.jp/rpc/
http://ping.blogmura.jp/rpc/
http://xmlrpc.blogg.de
http://1470.net/api/ping
http://bblog.com/ping.php
http://blog.goo.ne.jp/XMLRPC

Disclaimer: This list is provided “As Is” with no warranties nor guarantees and you should do your own proper research before using it.

If you wanted to ping all services manually (ie. not via pingomatic) you could use the following list:
I prefer this list as it does not rely on pingomatic but rather on WordPress to handle all pings.
http://api.feedster.com/ping
http://api.moreover.com/RPC2
http://api.my.yahoo.com/RPC2
http://xping.pubsub.com/ping/
http://ping.blo.gs/
http://ping.feedburner.com
http://ping.syndic8.com/xmlrpc.php
http://ping.weblogalot.com/rpc.php
http://rpc.blogrolling.com/pinger/
http://rpc.icerocket.com:10080/
http://rpc.newsgator.com/
http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping
http://rpc.weblogs.com/RPC2
http://topicexchange.com/RPC2
http://www.blogdigger.com/RPC2
http://www.blogstreet.com/xrbin/xmlrpc.cgi
http://www.newsisfree.com/RPCCloud
http://ping.weblogs.se/
http://blogmatcher.com/u.php
http://coreblog.org/ping/
http://www.blogpeople.net/servlet/weblogUpdates
http://bulkfeeds.net/rpc
http://trackback.bakeinu.jp/bakeping.php
http://ping.myblog.jp
http://ping.bitacoras.com
http://ping.bloggers.jp/rpc/
http://ping.blogmura.jp/rpc/
http://xmlrpc.blogg.de
http://1470.net/api/ping
http://bblog.com/ping.php
http://blog.goo.ne.jp/XMLRPC

Disclaimer: This list is provided “As Is” with no warranties nor guarantees and you should do your own proper research before using it.

(Also remember that some ping services need a manual ping first before they accept automated pings. See http://www.masternewmedia.org/news/2…n_blog_and.htm for that)

Here is how I got to this list:

1) It is important to note that the 2 above mentioned lists (the 2 url’s) do not exclude the possibility that the pingomatic and pingoat services mark you as spammers because you are pinging some services up to 3 times if you are using these lists as-is

You may for instance ping weblogs.com through pingomatic, pingoat and another time manually since it is included in the list as well.

Because of the above the following services were removed from the list:

http://api.feedster.com/ping
http://api.moreover.com/RPC2
http://api.my.yahoo.com/RPC2
http://xping.pubsub.com/ping/
http://www.mod-pubsub.org/ping.php
http://mod-pubsub.org/kn_apps/blogchatt
http://ping.blo.gs/
http://ping.feedburner.com
http://ping.syndic8.com/xmlrpc.php
http://ping.weblogalot.com/rpc.php
http://rpc.blogrolling.com/pinger/
http://rpc.icerocket.com:10080/
http://rpc.newsgator.com/
http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping
http://rpc.weblogs.com/RPC2
http://topicexchange.com/RPC2
http://www.blogdigger.com/RPC2
http://www.blogstreet.com/xrbin/xmlrpc.cgi
http://www.newsisfree.com/RPCCloud
http://www.a2b.cc/setloc/bp.a2b
http://www.blogshares.com/rpc.php

As they are included in pingomatic.com already (pingomatic was left in the list)

2) pingoat was removed, but all the services pingoat pings were left in the list so that pingomatic PLUS all the extra ping services listed on pingoat are pinged with the new list. These services are:

http://ping.weblogs.se/
http://blogmatcher.com/u.php
http://coreblog.org/ping/
http://www.blogpeople.net/servlet/weblogUpdates
http://bulkfeeds.net/rpc

3) All sites were checked for a bit decent Alexa ranking and for non-errors, this excludes the following sites from the list:

http://ping.rootblog.com/rpc.php alexa small
http://rcs.datashed.net/RPC2 alexa small
http://rpc.blogbuzzmachine.com/RPC2 alexa small
http://blogbot.dk/io/xml-rpc.php alexa small
http://www.blogoole.com/ping/ 403 error
http://www.snipsnap.org/RPC2 403 error
http://www.weblogues.com/RPC 403 error
http://www.lasermemory.com/lsrpc/ 403 error
http://www.blogroots.com/tb_populi.blog?id=1 404 error
http://ping.exblog.jp/xmlrpc 404 error
http://www.bitacoles.net/ping.php 404 error
http://thingamablog.sourceforge.net/ping.php not to be used
http://www.blogsnow.com/ping no pings please message
http://www.blogoon.net/ping/ cannot read
http://www.popdex.com/addsite.php not a RPC feed
http://ping.amagle.com/ SQL error
http://bitacoras.net/ping/ faulty redirect

4) 2 more services were excluded for special reasons:

http://ping.cocolog-nifty.com/xmlrpc < OK, but 405 not allowed
http://blogdb.jp/xmlrpc < OK, but slow

5) All the other sites were visited to ensure they were working

Full Article: see here

Let me know if you like it!:

I did the following earlier tonight to make the tiny field where you’re supposed to type your keywords a little bigger (a lot bigger if you want). And this is done with javascript locally in your browser, no Google server hacking is done.

1. For this to work you have to have mighty Firefox.
2. Install the Firebug addon (it’s awesome!). Get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843
3. After restarting Firefox, go to adwords keyword tool here: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
4. Left click on Firebug’s icon (it looks like a bug, duh!) in Firefox’s status bar.
5. Click “Inspect” in the upper left corner of Firebug’s window, then click in the middle of the field that is beneath the line: Enter one keyword or phrase per line:
6. When you click there, some HTML code gets highlighted now down in Firebug’s window. Click where it says width: 300px; height: 3em and change the 3em to something like 10em or whatever you feel comfortable with. Change the 300px too, if you want. The changes happen instantly.

It’s great to have a bigger field when brainstorming and typing several lines of keywords.
Happy Keywording!
