Last month, my PC infected by Trojan virus or kind a Trojan, I don’t really sure what it type, I found the files named Secupdat.dat .. gee, like evil .. it harm my PC in many ways, I can’t set “Show Hidden Files” at Folder settings, I can’t run few software that I need for my work, it made my Antivirus and Antimalware disfunction, I can’t boot my PC in safe mode even I can’t search on the internet about it name “Secupdat.dat“, all links with “Secupdat.dat” keyword that  I found at Google ended with “Not Found” error .. like living in hell, I sat above something spy on me, it’s very terrible. X-(

So I tried to search with my other PC about this culprit, I installed few Malwarebytes antimalware, trojan remover, Spybot and antivirus called “PCMAV“, this is the best one to find any suspicious threat at PC, but still it can’t delete or quarantine the virus, it stating the culprit is in use by other program.
Then I installed Prevx software which they said recommended to remove this kind of virus, later on I really regret to installed it on my PC, because while the culprit is still stayed on my PC, it made Prevx hang and didn’t response for long time and days.

Prevx always started every time I open my PC and very annoyed because the scan box always appears and can’t shut it down from everywhere, don’t ask about uninstalled from Control Panel, I did many times even I download the Previx removal tool, but it only work if I login with Safe Mode.
My PC can’t boot with Safe Mode, it always end with blue screen with error messages, even when I tried to forced Safe Mode change Boot.ini through Msconfig System Configuration Utility, it made more problems, my PC can login to Windows at all. So I tried repair it with Booting from Windows CD and temporary rename Boot.ini file from C prompt (thanks to someone who wrote about this).

Later I knew, The Spybot (previously  broken then I download again) made this Secupdat.dat files weak, so I can found it and delete it. Damn good free software I ever know but I’m still unsure if my PC was clean or not.

The second problem still there, Prevx software still annoyed with no response scan progress. But accidentally, my PC suddenly shut down because the electricity in my house and I’m not using UPS to safe, forgot to use it after I remove all hardware to battle with this trouble, then when I turn on the PC, the date and time at my PC got error back to past years, it set to 2008. So all trial software pooped with warning that my trial period was end and I should register ..bla bla ..

yeah, now I know I can make Prevx close and uninstall it easily, set back the time to past month or year, so the error software didn’t work !

well, this is dummy thing but at least it made me free

Since I’m using Yahoo! Messenger 9 few months ago, it often messed up my computer, stuck,  getting error, and disconneted suddenly when the connection going down,   some of my friends didn’t received my messages or they saw I’m typing but the messages didn’t show up. What a mess … although that’s not beta anymore.

Then I decided to downgrade Yahoo! Messenger to version 8, my friends did that too, and they told me it quite smooth rather than version 9.

For slow connection like mine or if you have standard specification of computer, better to downgrade your Yahoo! Messenger .. yeah I know, version 9 features more complete and have nice in design, status messages and avatars, but I prefer to not make my day in bad mood.
