Steve McNair was found dead in his Nashville home. He was only 36. His cause of death was a shot to the head. A female was found with him also shot to death. The Associated Press has reported that police were called to a condo where Steve McNair’s was located in

Nashville (the condo is said to be owned by the female with him). Upon entering, they found the bodies. Police have stated that they have a tentative ID for the woman but won’t release her name until her family has been notified.

The woman found dead with him was a “friend,” Sahel Kazemi who was a waitress. She was 20. Steve McNair’s friend, Wayne Neeley, found the two. McNair rented the condo from Neeley. Steve McNair had a gunshot wound to the head, and was shot other multiple times. Sahel was shot once, to the head. It is not clear what relationship the two had with each other. An anonymous source at the restaurant that Sahel worked, said that they thought the two had a relationship for six to eight months.

The police do not think that MeChelle McNair is involved.

Media Takeout is reporting a theory that Sahel Kazemi was tired of being strung around by McNair and killed the Quarterback and then herself. A gun was found near her body. If this is the case, hopefully this story will make people think twice about cheating on their spouse, in fear of the outcome and that it’s not right.

There are no suspects at this time but rumors floating around the internet are that it was a murder/suicide and that the dead female was his wife. The rumor is that his wife shot him and then killed herself. Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi were found shot to death inside the former Tennessee Titan QB’s rented Nashville condominium on Saturday, the fourth of July. Investigators have ruled Steve McNair’s death a homicide; he was shot multiple times at shot at point blank range. Sahel Kazemi was shot once in the head. A gun was found underneath her corpse. The cause of Sahel Kazemi’s death has not yet been ruled on.

The New York Daily News is speculating that it is possible that Mechelle McNair, Steve McNair’s wife, learned about her husband’s alleged affair with Sahel Kazemi after the two were found shot dead in the former quarterback’s condo.

Reportedly, Steve McNair met Sahel Kazemi at Dave & Buster’s, a sports bar where the 20-year-old dark-haired beauty worked as a waitress.

Member of Sahel Kazemi’s family have told various media outlets that Steve McNair was in the process of getting a divorce and that he was planning to marry Kazemi.

One would be hard pressed to remember a time when the death of a famous person was shrouded in so much mystery. In time, though, it will all be sorted out and the true circumstances surrounding the grisly deaths of former all-star QB Steve McNair and his alleged girlfriend Sahel Kazemi will come to light.

8 babies born to a mother in Southern California — only the second live-born set of octuplets in the world — were in stable condition and breathing on their own, doctors said Tuesday. The six boys and two girls — ranging in weight from 1 pound 8 ounces to 3 pounds 4 ounces — were generally doing well in incubators following their Caesarean-section delivery at Kaiser Permanente hospital in Bellflower, California, doctors said.

Dr. Mandhir Gupta, a neonatologist at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center, told ABC television that the babies “are doing actually very, very well.”

Two of the newborns were initially put on ventilators, but their breathing tubes have been removed. Three of the babies need breathing assistance, but otherwise the eight don’t appear to have serious problems, doctors said at a news conference Monday evening.

“Only three babies need some sort of oxygen through the nose right now but they are breathing on their own,” Gupta said on “Good Morning America.”

The six boys and two girls were born Monday, weighing between 1 pound, 8 ounces (0.67 kilograms) and 3 pounds, 4 ounces (1.47 kilograms). The mother’s identity has not been released.

The world’s first live octuplets were born in March 1967 in Mexico City, but all died within 14 hours, according to Encyclopedia Britannica.

The United States’ first live octuplets were born in Houston in 1998, three months premature. The tiniest died a week after the birth. The surviving siblings turned 10 in December.

Their parents, Nkem Chukwu and Iyke Louis Udobi, told The Associated Press that they were delighted to hear another mother managed the same feat.

“It’s a blessing, truly a blessing,” Chukwu said. “We’ll keep praying for them.”

The parents of the California octuplets and their doctors had been expecting only seven babies. Just five minutes after the first birth, the unexpected eighth baby came out.

“It is quite easy to miss a baby when you’re anticipating seven,” said Dr. Harold Henry, chief of maternal and fetal medicine and one of 46 doctors, nurses and assistants who delivered the children by Caesarean section.

Doctors said they repeatedly conducted practice sessions in anticipation of the deliveries and were well prepared.

The babies — dubbed with the letters A-through-H — will probably remain in the hospital for at least two months and the mother should be released in a week, said Dr. Karen Maples, chief of the department of obstetrics and gynecology.

The most encouraging news was that the smallest — Baby E, a boy — no longer needed a ventilator. Gupta described him as “very feisty” on Tuesday.

The doctors cautioned that there is still the possibility that one or more of the octuplets may need a breathing tube again, and more dangers await when they begin feeding.

The mother checked into the hospital in her 23rd week of pregnancy and gave birth to the premature babies seven weeks later. Hospital officials would not say whether she had used fertility drugs.

Dr. Richard Paulson, director of the fertility program at the University of Southern California, said the latest births likely resulted from the use of fertility drugs, and that the children could face serious health risks.

“It’s a risky decision to try to have all eight babies,” said Paulson, who had no role in the delivery. “I would not recommend it under any circumstances, but I respect a parent’s decision.”

The Bellflower medical center, located about 17 miles southeast of Los Angeles, has an advanced neonatal unit. The most infants previously delivered at the hospital was five, the Los Angeles Times said.

Eight babies believed to be the United States’ first set of live octuplets were born in Houston, Texas, in 1998. One of the infants died days after birth. The seven other siblings recently celebrated their 10th birthday, the Houston Chronicle reported last month.

Jena Six was the name given to a group of six black teenagers charged with the beating of Justin Barker, a white student at Jena High School in Jena, Louisiana, United States, on December 4, 2006. Barker was injured, but was released from the emergency room the same day. He has since brought suit against members of the Jena Six, their parents, the school district, and others allegedly involved.

A number of events took place in and around Jena in the months preceding the Barker assault, which have been linked to an alleged escalation of racial tensions. These events included the hanging of nooses from a tree in the high school courtyard, two violent confrontations between white and black youths, and the destruction by fire of the main building of Jena High School. The incidents were often linked in the extensive news coverage regarding the Jena Six.

Six persons, Robert Bailey (then aged 17), Mychal Bell (then 16), Carwin Jones ( then 18), Bryant Purvis (then 17),  Jesse Ray Beard ( then 14) and Theo Shaw (then 17) were arrested in the assault on Barker. One, Mychal Bell, was initially convicted as an adult of aggravated battery and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery. His convictions were overturned on the ground that he should have been tried as a juvenile. Prior to a retrial in juvenile court, he pled guilty to a reduced charge of simple battery. The other five defendants still await trial.

The Jena Six case sparked protests by those viewing the arrests and subsequent charges, initially attempted second-degree murder (though later reduced), as excessive and racially discriminatory. The protesters asserted that white Jena youths involved in other incidents were treated leniently. On September 20, 2007, between 15,000 and 20,000 protesters marched on Jena in what was described as the “largest civil rights demonstration in years”. Related protests were held in other US cities on the same day. Subsequent reactions include songs alluding to the Jena Six, a considerable number of editorials and opinion columns, and Congressional hearings.

The case has elicited allegations that the charges against the Jena Six were disproportionate and racially motivated. Supporters of the Jena Six circulated online petitions, raised money for legal defense, and held a demonstration in Jena on September 20, 2007.

Tumbleweed Tiny House Company is a Sebastopol, California architecture and construction business owned by Jay Shafer, who designs and builds very small houses between 50 and 750 square feet (5 and 70 m²) in area.

Shafer builds his smaller designs himself and ships them by truck to consumers. Many of these smaller designs are mobile homes with built-in wheels. For his larger designs, Shafer sells floor plans for on-site construction. Shafer named his company after the first tiny house he built for himself in 1997.

“Well there are a lot of reasons I’ve decided to live in a tiny house,” he explained. “Probably first and foremost is because it frees up my time otherwise. So all of the time I would spend earning money to pay off a mortgage or rent can be spent doing things I love to do. I don’t have much housework either.”

The average American family home has about 230 square meters. His is 30 years old. It is tiny, cozy, energy efficient and, according to Shafer, all he needs.

“I just don’t like the idea of spewing tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. I know that the average American house puts out eighteen tons of greenhouse gases per year, and you know, that’s not even including all of the consumption that is involved with the, you know, materials, and also just heating fuel,” Shafer said.

Margie O’Driscoll with the American Institute of Architects says Americans have a tendency to acquire stuff, a trend she thinks may be changing.

“You can hire professionals to come in and organize your garage and your closet, and really that speaks to having a lot of stuff. And if you have to organize it, and you don’t even know what it is, you sort of start to wonder: ‘well do I really need to have as much as I have’. And I think that the time of American excess has really begun to shift and people are starting to identify what is really important to them,” O’Driscoll said.

Bill Kastrinos gave up traditional home building last year to start a company called Tortoiseshell Homes.

“I’ve had several people, young people that just want to downsize. I’m getting rid of stuff. I’m having garage sales. I have three sets of China. What do I need three sets of China for?” Kastrinos noted. “So there is just a thought process that is going on where people are saying ‘well okay, if global warming is really a big problem, how much help am I by changing light bulbs to fluorescence.’ It is going to take a major rethinking of everything we do.”

Tortoiseshell homes are less elaborate than Shafer’s and cheaper.
But both constructions are well insulated, both can be mounted on trailers, and both sleep two comfortably, in an upstairs loft.

“The bathroom becomes the shower. I have another door over here to protect the window from water, and that works out pretty well,” Shafer explained. “The little composting toilet is down here, and I can pull a plastic curtain in front of that so it doesn’t get wet.”

Tiny houses are not for everyone, but Shafer is more than happy to call his tiny house, home.

Mark Everett (September 28, 1969 – December 23, 2008), born as Manuel Benitez, was a former American child actor in Hollywood films. He was a fugitive wanted by the FBI for the bludgeoning murder of his girlfriend in 2004. In 2008, he was shot and killed by police officers responding to a hostage situation in El Monte, California.

His girlfriend eventually found out about this and decided to end the relationship. On the night of June 20, 2004, Father’s Day, while she was asleep, Everett tried to leave with their son. She woke up and tried to stop him. Everett then allegedly picked up his dumbbell and beat her numerous times, killing her in front of their child.

Everett was an international fugitive. He was believed to be traveling with his son Benjamin and his mother Elizabeth Velasco until his death.

On December 23, 2008, Everett, who was featured on America’s Most Wanted, was killed in a hostage standoff at a Chinese restaurant in El Monte, California. He held his seven-year-old son hostage for two hours before being killed by police. His son was shot in the thigh, but is expected to survive
